Policy
Management regards the Health & Safety of employees and persons being affected by our operations of vital importance. Our primary objective is therefore to:
“Achieve and maintain the highest practicable level of Health and Safety control in all areas of the Company’s operations.”
1. Our Company will ensure that:
a) Health and Safety matters are accorded high priority.
b) All precautions are taken to prevent injuries, incidents and damage.
c) The provisions of all relevant legislation as well as the Health & Safety Management System are complied with.
2. Occupational Health and Safety Objectives.
In order to achieve our goals we are committed to:
a) Train our employees in Occupational Health and Safety issues so as to ensure competence in the workplace.
b) Be aware of the potential hazards implicit in their work activities,
c) Be aware of their scope of authority in terms of Occupational Health and Safety control.
d) Manage Occupational Health & Safety to acceptable standards.
e) Enforce Health & Safety measures with discipline in the workplace.
f) Protect the public and persons other than Company employees from Health and Safety hazards associated with our work.
